Theater seasons only have certain slots per year and it has been a joy getting to watch folks I adore see their plays realized on the stage. I have also had the sweet opportunity of getting to see my work in big beautiful productions. Beyond productions is the work that happens often in silos. But thanks to Roundabout Theatre Company I’ve been able to write in community over the years. It’s been awhile since I’ve joined a group writing - but this week I have had the pleasure of being in community with fellow writers. I was even gifted this incredible mug. The writer’s life can seem solitary but when I’m writing alone with others it’s really such a joyful experience. Perhaps now I should get back to work.
