All proceeds benefit Dramatic Adventure Theatre July 17th—19th, 2009 ![]() ACTion: Ecuador 2009 Showcase, “Hecho en Ecuador” Over the course of this summer, 100 theatre artists from across this United States will journey throughout the country of Ecuador. These artists will explore the diverse cultures and terrain, engage with local communities through service projects, learn traditional Andean Mask Dances, workshop with local artists, and build original, short pieces of theatre based upon and inspired by their experience abroad. These pieces will be created in Ecuador through collaboration with each other and local artists. June 21st—July 14th, 2009 Travelling with Dramatic Adventure Theatre (DAT) to ECUADOR ACTion Ecuador I will be travelling to Ecuador this summer as part of a theatre community service project. We will be working on building a community center in Quilotoa, teaching theatre skills to kids in La Selva and creating a piece of theatre to showcase upon our return. Quilotoa is an Andean community where they still speak traditional Quechuan. People have been leaving this small community to live in larger cities where they can make more money.
